On APRIL 10, JEFF Danker & MARK DANKER went on their yearly shed hunt. They started at the River Mesa then moved on to the Wallahachie and finished at Republican Valley Whitetails in Clay Center, Kansas. Thanks to Shawn & Kari Stratton for the hospitality!
On March 13, the BuckVentures team met up at Roberts Retreat Lodge (20 minutes North of Ada, Oklahoma) and held our Annual Meeting. We did a little shed hunting and fishing, played some ping pong and a lot of poker! In the end, we had a great weekend with James & Jackie Roberts, our prostaff and Jim Streleck and Ronnie Conerly from Knight & Hale. Thanks to all who attended and we look forward to next years' meeting!
We are proud to announce that we signed with Code Blue on Feb. 25th. Code Blues General Manager Steve Lambeth and Jeff Danker sat down at the Shot Show and discussed options for 2008 and both left the meeting knowing it would make sense to get the two companies working together. The deal came together on the 25th of February and we are both very excited going forward.
After several years of bouncing around from one Bow Sponsor to another, BuckVentures has found a home. After talking back and forth with Mathews' Ron Cormier on Potential Sponsorship, we have made it official. BuckVentures Outdoors will be using and endorsing Mathews. We feel this was a huge decision and once again thank God for leading us down the right path. We believe this is a start to a long partnership and look forward to shooting the best Bow on the market.
After working with Knight & Hale over the last couple of years, we knew they were a great company and big time Christians. Working with General Manager Ronnie Conerly, we both knew we wanted to do more with the 2 companies. So on February 1st, we decided to make BuckVentures Outdoors, "Knight & Hale's BuckVentures Outdoors" and feel great about the decision. There is more news on this subject, but at this time we cannot spill the beans. Look for a HUGE announcement in the coming months.
The fall of the Men's Channel left a lot of Producers in a bind, including BuckVentures Outdoors. Several Networks started to emerge, promising great things. Feeling a little cautious and confused, BuckVentures Outdoors wanted to make sure we made the right decision. We began to pray and seek God for this very important decision. That being said, God answered our prayers and teamed us up with The Pursuit Channel. We were fortunate enough to land airtimes right in the middle of Mathews Big Buck Night line up. Here is the line up for the Block:
